Landlord is stingy and very rude as we did not go through a property agent. They did not respond to us after they convinced us to sign the tenancy contract. We were expected to deal with the maintenance ourselves during the year even though this liability is borne by the landlord which was clearly stated in the contract. This was an obvious act of taking advantage of us as students and did not allow us to check in on time.

Be prepare to freeze to death as there are no double glazed windows and very bad gas heating. The house is extremely old and low energy efficient, be prepare to fork out more than 15 pounds a week per person for utilities. The place was not cleaned when we moved in. Furniture are falling apart. There is no couch at the living room.
