Landlord rating
Andy was a great landlord when we first moved in. He left a kind note and a couple of bottles of wine on our first day. He responded quickly if we did need to get in touch about anything and was generally very amenable. However, as soon as we started having persistent issues with the mice Andy became a nightmare to deal with and the relationship deteriorated rapidly. By the last year of our tenancy I was left in tears multiple times as he failed to address the issues in a timely or polite manner. He has spoken to us very rudely on multiple occasions, sworn at my husband, been dismissive of me when I voiced my concerns about the mice and generally made us feel powerless and hopeless. Eventually he proved to be a nasty, petty, money grubbing little man and I wouldn't wish dealing with him on my worst enemy.

Property rating
Flawless property when we moved in, all brand new. Mold problems started very quickly and were never properly addressed. We ended up painting with anti-mould paint ourselves but it was a persistent issue. We also had terrible problems with mice coming up from the flat below that took over 14 months to be sorted, by which time we were about to move out. Dealing with mice and a pandemic simultaneously was incredibly stressful - working from home with mice everywhere was a nightmare. Finally, the landlord has begun building more properties in the garden, with constant, ongoing, very noisy building work taking place. 3/10 as the property was nice when we moved in and has the most incredible view (minus the building work) but living there became a nightmare.

Amazing location - St Andrews park, Gloucester Road shops and Montpelier train station all on the doorstep. Absolutely loved living in this area.
