Landlord review for David Rees, Bath

Landlord rating: 10
We could not fault David during our tenancy. He was brilliant in every way we needed him to be - in fact, it felt like he was a friend's dad rather than a 'scary landlord'. He gave us space and privacy, but would be over (most often within 24 hours!) if we ever had an issue with the property. He was kind, had a great sense of humour, was very generous and understanding of our situation as students - we even shared hugs on our move out day. Again, neither my partner nor I could fault David, he was amazing.

Property review for 11 Northampton Buildings, Bath, Bath

Property rating: 7
The flat was a typical Bath flat - quite small, and a little prone to mould (they all are in Bath!) but it had a fantastic conservatory and garden, which is very rare in the area, and was right behind the Royal Crescent with great access to the city centre. It was perfect for my partner and I for two years, taking us through our last year of uni and our first year after graduation. The only consistent issues we faced was with deliveries - amazon and other delivery services would sometimes skip our delivery because we were well hidden or in a difficult spot to get to (regular postie was very reliable though!). The bathroom was also quite small, but we got used to it after a bit.

Area review for Bath, Bath

Area rating: 9
The flat was positioned in a perfect place, just above the city centre. It was a 10 minute walk away from the uni bus when we needed it, and then 15 minutes from our work after we graduated. The surrounding areas were beautiful- our neighbouring buildings were often historical land marks, including the Crescent, Circus, and Victoria Park. It was 10 minutes away from the dentist, and we were practically nextdoor neighbours to the doctors. Both the co-op and a fantastic grocers were 2 minutes across the road. Although the flat was sandwiched between all sorts of houses, above, beside, and behind, we never had a noise issue in all the time we lived there.
