Landlord rating
If I could give negative stars I would.
Landlord was a pervert, told me I’d get a double room then didn’t give me one but tried to charge me for it.
Built an extension for more rooms to exploit tenants and these were not safe at all. Major fire hazards. Gave us keys to the rooms for privacy but would use a master key to go through them whilst we were out.
Built a wet room in the new part of the house but put saloon doors on them with a gap in the middle people could see through and watched you shower. I ended up wearing a swimming costume to shower as I felt so uncomfortable.
Had a relationship with a young French girl 40 years younger than him and gave her discounted rent.
Tried to get multiple girls to sign up to his friends modelling agency which actually was for naked modelling.
Shamed you for not being a vegetarian.
Would keep his key in the lock at night so if you came back late he would either be mad that he had to come open the door for you, or he’d try to get you to watch things on the sofa with him.
Booked more tenants than rooms so he had to sleep on the sofa in the living room for weeks. The living room was on the way to the kitchen so people wouldn’t eat because they didn’t want to get into uncomfortable conversations with him.
Would only let young girls stay and asked not to have partners or anybody else round.
Told the police about all of this and they didn’t seem to care because he hadn’t “physically assaulted anybody”.
So so so many more issues I could raise. Please please don’t go there.

Very cold and wouldn’t turn the heating on. Complained if you showered longer than he thought acceptable.
Built an extension completely without regulations and forced one girl to live on a mezzanine which was open to everyone and had no barriers or bars on the stairs up to it so she could’ve easily fallen off.
Got half a shelf in the fridge of food.
