Landlord rating
House was managed by estate agents and we never met the landlord. Generally the landlord was responsive when we had issues, until the end of the tenancy when they took a long time to reply to issues escalated by the estate agents.

Property rating
Upon arrival, the house was unclean and furniture was poorly arranged (eg freezer against the radiator). We had multiple complaints upon arrival, including a broken oven, unreliable freezer, rusty microwave, broken gate, incorrect keys provided, and signs of mould in every room. Random broken furniture was left in the shed, which the landlord did not wish to replace/fix over the years. Rubbish had been left in the back garden from previous tenants, and was frequently left in the front garden by neighbours. No gardening equipment was provided though gardening was expected to be completed by tenants.
Upstairs, there was very poor ventilation in the bathroom, and despite leaving the window open, mould built up on the ceiling all year round. Also sockets upstairs had rusted from moisture left by previous tenants. I also had a mouldy mattress and curtains in my room upon arrival, but the estate agents were happy to help with arranging a replacement.
In the kitchen, the extractor fan was very greasy and ineffective during cooking. Floor tiles were also broken upon arrival.
The property showed great potential of being a lovely home, though the state of the house, combined with the area, left us all wanting to move out.

Foxhill was rough, often with fights/arguments outside. We saw blood left on pavements.
The neighbours were very noisy, often waking us up in the early hours due to screaming at their child. We saw the child show signs of neglect, though the council did not action this. The neighbours also played very loud music through the day and night which meant we could not study in the house. Usually the road was quite loud with music playing or a loud motorbike late at night. Our neighbours on the other side were friendly.
Overall we felt unsafe in the area, and the only perk was being on a bus route. Photos online from the letting agents and maps are outdated and inaccurate.
