I lived in the property for five years, and during that time, I found Places and the people who worked there to be nothing but professional. Every time that there was a problem with the flat – for example the washing machine stopped working three years into the tenancy – Places were prompt in dealing with the issue and communicated effectively. I would definitely recommend them as an estate agents, not just for how they dealt with the process of finding me somewhere nice to rent, but also for the care they showed me throughout my tenancy.

The flat itself was lovely. It was clean and came with all the white goods installed. There was an issue early on with a leak in the ceiling, which resulted in a crack in the wall, but Places were quick to deal with the issue.

Area review for North Edgbaston, Birmingham

At first glance the local area is great. It has close links to the city centre with loads of regular buses into town. Even an Uber is relatively cheap. It was also close to Harborne and Bearwood high streets. However, there are also quite a few unsavory elements - drug addicts and prostitution is common.
