Landlord rating
I couldn't recommend a better landlord. Throughout the entire time renting, he has been incredibly responsive — whether by message or email, he always gets back to you quickly and, more importantly, acts on it. Any time there's been an issue at the property, he's come out the same day or the day after and made sure it was sorted as soon as possible. That kind of reliability is rare and genuinely makes a huge difference as a tenant.
Beyond just doing his job well, he goes above and beyond in ways you really don’t expect. On the day I moved out, he took time out of his own day to help me move my luggage to my storage unit and even rushed me back to catch my train. Somehow, against all the odds and under some serious time pressure, we made it. It was genuinely quite a funny experience looking back and a real testament to his character and the good teamwork between us.
He's also extremely patient with his tenants, which made a real difference throughout the year. It's been a good experience from start to finish, and I'm grateful to have had him as a landlord this year. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, look no further.

The property itself was a six-bedroom house that had everything you could need. Spacious kitchen and living area, good sized rooms, a big garden, and plenty of room for everyone. A really comfortable place to live.

Area rating
A really convenient spot. You've got a Sainsbury's Local and Tesco just nearby, so shopping is never an issue. It's a quiet road compared to some of the busier ones like Dawlish, which makes a nice difference day to day. Not a far walk from campus at all, and close to the gym and all the coffee shops. Overall a pretty great location — hard to fault it.
